COMMERCIAL DISPUTES

Polly regularly acts for companies, shareholders and directors in commercial disputes. She has experience in commercial disputes across sectors as diverse as financial services, fast moving consumer goods, oil and gas, commercial property, and primary production.

She has helped clients navigate and resolve sale and purchase disputes, franchise disputes, commercial lease disputes, contractual termination disputes, claims in negligence, claims under the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and disputes involving issues such as force majeure, mistake, frustration and equitable claims. She has acted for both plaintiffs and defendants in claims in tort, including claims for negligence

SHAREHOLDER DISPUTES

Polly has acted for shareholders in disputes concerning breaches of shareholder agreements, minority oppression, breaches of directors’ duties, and misrepresentation in the sale of shares. She has assisted shareholders in obtaining remedies through court processes, access to information, and mediation.

CLASS ACTIONS
